  • Innovative Systems is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to support the sales team in pre-sales technical activities and play a crucial role in all stages of the sales process.
  • The successful candidate will have demonstrated technical aptitude and prior successful technical sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding targets and cultivating relationships.
  • Bilingual or multilingual fluency is required, with a minimum of Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Candidates should possess a first-hand understanding of multiple cultures, particularly those across Latin America, North America, and other Spanish, Portuguese, and English-speaking regions.
  • Responsibilities include conducting discovery conversations with prospects to understand their functional challenges, managerial impacts, and desired business outcomes.
  • The role involves visualizing and presenting findings to validate understanding before solution demonstrations.
  • The Pre-Sales Engineer will conduct solution demonstrations, technical briefings, and ensure the Innovative solution aligns with client needs.
  • The position requires assessing incoming RFI or RFP requests and advising the sales team on Innovative's capabilities to meet those requirements.
  • For selected RFIs or RFPs, the engineer will lead the information collection and coordinate responses with the sales team.
  • Collaboration with sales, account management, product management, engineering, and technical support is essential to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs.
  • The engineer will provide subject matter expertise in financial crimes and anti-money laundering, position screening solutions for banking and insurance applications, and explain the unique features of Innovative’s solutions.
  • Responsibilities also include delivering tailored product presentations, leading Proof-of-Value engagements, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive communication.
  • The engineer will meet or exceed assigned sales targets and participate in trade shows and industry events.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a technical focus or equivalent related experience is required.
  • Proven technology skills, including knowledge of system integrations, are necessary.
  • A technical understanding of SaaS, On-Premise, and API implementations and operations is essential.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Attention to detail, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities, is necessary.
  • Candidates should demonstrate intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • A passionate self-starter who is self-directed and able to execute independently is preferred.
  • Prior successful software or technical sales experience in a business-to-business environment, with a record of consistently exceeding targets, is a plus.
  • Experience in the compliance, data quality, and/or data management industries is advantageous.
  • The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.
