Description:

  • We are hiring a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer who is an experienced pre-sales engineer or technical sales professional, particularly in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector.
  • The ideal candidate should be tired of supporting software solutions that require excessive customization for A&D needs.
  • The role involves partnering closely with Sales Account Executives to drive revenue growth by articulating the business value of our cloud MES/MRO software for A&D customers.
  • The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for running tailored product demos, proof of concepts, and technical workshops that address A&D's unique challenges.
  • This position allows for shaping deal strategy and collaborating with CxO-level stakeholders to ensure technical wins at every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Essential functions include defining and executing account strategies, leading product demonstrations, acting as a trusted advisor, building CxO-level relationships, staying technically sharp, supporting RFx processes, contributing as a subject matter expert at events, providing feedback to Product Management, and ensuring smooth post-sale handoffs.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with complex discrete manufacturing, such as aerospace, defense, or medical devices, and understanding of regulatory requirements is required.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with electronic execution systems, including MES, MoM, or PLM.
  • The candidate must have a proven ability to present, demo, and communicate complex technical solutions clearly to all levels, including CxO audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-scoping skills are essential.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Familiarity with AI, Model-Based Enterprise (MBE), cloud-based architectures, and Lean manufacturing is a plus.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% and work remotely when not traveling.
