The Principal AI Research Scientist position is a remote role based in the United States, offered by Technergetics.

The candidate will serve as the AI/ML subject matter expert across multidisciplinary teams and develop algorithms for reasoning over multi-modal and structured data.
The role requires guiding product direction with insights that balance innovation with business goals and collaborating with external researchers and academic institutions.
The candidate will represent AI advancements at industry conferences and mentor junior engineers and data scientists.
Regular customer engagement is necessary to incorporate feedback into evolving product strategies.
Requirements:
A PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of machine learning experience, including academic and research work.
Expertise in Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and ML libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch is essential.
A strong grasp of algorithms and techniques like SVM, neural networks, and clustering is required.
Demonstrated experience in proposal writing and business development strategy is necessary.
Familiarity with RAG methods, cloud platforms (AWS), knowledge graphs, and graph databases is preferred.
An entrepreneurial mindset and passion for innovation in AI are essential.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to guide R&D teams are required.
Clearance eligibility is mandatory, with US Citizenship required and travel up to 20%.
Preferred qualifications include experience with RDF, Nvidia Triton, Go, or data engineering workflows.
