Articul8 AI is seeking a Principal AI Researcher to shape the future of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
The role involves implementing and leading the design, development, and scaling of novel algorithms and models for diverse modalities such as text, images, audio, video, and time series data.
Responsibilities include serving as the subject matter expert and lead developer for key GenAI technologies, playing a hands-on role in core GenAI research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in high-level technical decision-making, staying updated on emerging trends, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements:
Education: A PhD or MSc degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning (ML), or a related field is required.
Professional experience: Candidates must have 8+ years of experience as an AI researcher with a proven track record in applied research and 3+ years specifically in developing GenAI technologies. A strong background in parallel/distributed computing, preferably on the cloud, is essential, along with a proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
Core technical skills: Experience in developing tools, libraries, and infrastructure for data preprocessing, model training/finetuning, and deployment of LLMs is necessary. Knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, probability theory, statistics, natural language processing, computer vision, and model evaluation is required.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with version control systems like Git are crucial.
