Description:

  • The Electronic Warfare and Novel Capabilities Group (EWNC) develops advanced signal processing algorithms and prototype systems for next-generation radar and electronic warfare technologies.
  • EWNC promotes a culture of innovation and collaboration, investigating cutting-edge technologies and interfacing with engineers and researchers to develop effective solutions to RF sensing and counter-sensing challenges.
  • As a Lead Algorithm & Signal Processing Researcher, you will develop state-of-the-art algorithms for signal detection, classification, electronic support measures, and cognitive electronic warfare.
  • Responsibilities include designing and applying signal processing and machine learning techniques, implementing models and simulations for advanced RF systems, leading small teams and projects, supporting business development, and collaborating with diverse teams to deploy capabilities to prototype systems.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
  • A BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience is necessary.
  • Experience in two or more areas such as RF/radar signal processing, optimization, waveform design, electronic warfare, machine learning, adaptive signal processing, AI/ML algorithm development, and systems engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in scientific or mathematical programming languages like MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ is essential.
  • Strong mathematical, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
