Description:

  • The Principal Consultant will lead client-facing projects and produce deliverables based on proactive services client engagements.
  • This role involves working directly with multiple customers and key stakeholders, including technical operators, management, and C-Suite executives, to drive security priorities for Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • The Principal Consultant will deliver Proactive Consulting Services and act as a trusted advisor to enhance customers' cybersecurity posture.
  • Responsibilities include understanding the cloud threat intelligence landscape, conducting security configuration audits, performing architectural overviews, analyzing monitoring and alerting levels, reviewing cloud identity management methodologies, conducting cyber risk assessments, using command-line interfaces for validation, assessing multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations, and advising on cloud security initiative roadmaps.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in cloud security advisement and risk assessments based on industry-accepted standards.
  • Former professional services and consulting experience is preferred, along with experience managing a team of consultants.
  • Cloud Security-related certifications are preferred, and hands-on experience with cloud hosting providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required.
  • Experience with Cloud Application Security Brokers such as MCAS or Netskope is necessary.
  • A deep technical knowledge of CASBs, Cloud Platforms, and related dependencies is essential.
  • Candidates should have prior experience with cloud migrations and demonstrate a track record in strengthening client relationships.
  • Knowledge of command-line interfaces or scripting tools in cloud environments is a plus.
  • The ability to scope new opportunities, draft statements of work, and perform travel requirements (approximately 30%) is required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience is necessary.

  • The compensation for this position ranges from $151,000 to $208,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and work location.
