• The Principal Machine Learning Engineer will help transform healthcare through AI at Accompany Health.
• Responsibilities include technical leadership, data strategy and architecture, collaboration and enablement, and quality and innovation.
• The role involves building and maintaining scalable data infrastructure, developing AI pipeline architecture, and ensuring responsible AI development.
• The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-related technical issues and enhance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of data engineering experience, including 3+ years focused on machine learning.
• A graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required.
• Candidates should be entrepreneurial, mission-driven, and able to present ideas clearly and confidently.
• Hands-on expertise in developing and implementing modern LLM models and transformers is necessary.
• Experience in developing and deploying ML models in a production environment is required.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to create efficient and maintainable code for machine learning applications, is essential.
• Candidates should have experience in developing, productizing, and maintaining ML pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Knowledge of best practices for model versioning, experimentation, and reproducibility is required.
• Continuous improvement of ML infrastructure for stability, scalability, observability, and security is expected.
• Experience in healthcare is valuable but not required.

Benefits:

• The base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-$230,000, plus equity and benefits.
