As a Principal Platform Engineer, you will shape the core of the engineering platform, working on backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
Your responsibilities will include refactoring existing Azure Function repositories, modernizing backend architecture, and improving build and deployment pipelines.
You will define patterns for service ownership and reliability, coach engineers, and prioritize technical debt.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in software and platform development.
Deep, hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, APIM, Cosmos DB, Table Storage, and Service Bus is required.
Proficiency in IaC tools (preferably Bicep), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) is necessary.
Strong skills in C#/.NET and experience with microservices at scale are essential.
Experience designing event-driven systems and understanding the balance between idealism and pragmatism is important.
Candidates should have a passion for reducing duplication, improving developer workflows, and simplifying complex processes.
Strong collaboration skills with development teams, product managers, and DevOps are required.
