The role involves driving the vision and strategy for user experiences and systems, focusing on offer personalization and ranking.
The candidate will work with a significant amount of data, specifically $180 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV), to enhance user discovery and engagement.
Responsibilities include setting mission, vision, strategy, priorities, roadmaps, and OKRs for initiatives, while collaborating cross-functionally.
The candidate must immerse themselves in consumer and partner needs, becoming an expert in user understanding and behaviors.
The role requires using product instincts and data to drive decisions and results, partnering with ML and Data Science leaders to enhance optimizations and insights.
The candidate will contribute to elevating the product craft and overall business strategy, taking ownership of outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
The candidate must have deep experience with ML, recommendation systems, entity understanding, personalization, and ranking.
A minimum of 6 years of product management experience in relevant domains is required, demonstrating strong product thinking and execution ability.
Proven experience in search and discovery systems, search optimization, advertising systems, and core PM responsibilities is essential.
The candidate should thrive in fast-paced environments, be skilled at building 0-to-1 products, and capable of designing solutions for competing objectives.
A deep understanding of user behavior and two-sided marketplaces is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of product management experience in high-impact roles within search, discovery, personalization, or ad tech.
