We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our Barcelona team, who shares our values of pragmatism, professionalism, and transparency.
You will utilize your expertise with both clients and internally, helping to shape Codurance and being involved in coaching and mentoring across the company.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of internal and client projects, which may include greenfield projects for startups or building mission-critical systems for large enterprise clients.
You may work as an embedded craftsperson within a client's existing development team or help introduce Software Craftsmanship and Extreme Programming practices through coaching and mentoring.
Requirements:
You must be able to actively build relationships with strategic stakeholders within the client, acting as an advisor and partner in identifying and solving problems.
You should possess broad technical knowledge and skills, advising on multiple technology stacks at both high and low levels, and assisting product teams with value discovery through prototyping and research.
A proven track record of executing and planning a technical or product strategy, as well as identifying and managing risks, is required.
Versatility in leadership and communication styles is essential, along with strong facilitation skills.
You should have a learning and growth mindset, enjoying helping teams and individuals grow through coaching, mentoring, and teaching.
