• 1Password is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hybrid Solutions Engineer/Solutions Architect to join their AWS Partnership team.
• The role involves serving as a trusted technical advisor and leading technical enablement for the AWS-based partnership.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with AWS’s technical teams to build a technical roadmap for engagement and ensuring sales teams are equipped to position solutions effectively.
• The position is remote and available within Canada and the US.
• The candidate will help design tailored security solutions that integrate the SaaS cybersecurity platform with AWS services.
• The role includes providing strategic guidance on scalable cloud infrastructures optimized for generative AI solutions.
• The candidate will conduct technical workshops and training sessions for AWS partners and assist in pre-sales activities by addressing technical inquiries and providing architectural guidance.
• Participation in customer meetings as a technical expert is required to ensure solutions are positioned appropriately and to support the sales process.
• The role emphasizes continuous improvement by working with internal product and engineering teams to provide field feedback.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS services in a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical role, preferably in cybersecurity or cloud computing.
• At least 3 years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• A deep understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices, with demonstrated experience in security-focused AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with identity standards such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2, OIDC, and modern security principles like zero trust and multi-factor authentication.
• Expertise in designing solutions with IAM platforms such as Okta, Active Directory, Entra ID, and AWS Cognito for enabling single sign-on services.
• Proven experience in developing high-quality technical artifacts, reference architectures, and white papers for diverse audiences.
• A comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity concepts, protocols, and industry standards, including network security and identity management.
• In-depth knowledge of scalable cloud infrastructure principles and generative AI solutions like Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, product, and marketing.
• Strongly preferred qualifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or relevant industry certifications in cybersecurity.

• The annual base salary for this role ranges from $160,000 to $216,000 USD for USA-based roles, and $151,000 to $205,000 CAD for Canada-based roles.
