The Principal, Strategic AI Partnerships will drive GitLab's strategic partnerships with AI platforms and solutions, creating pathways for developers into the GitLab ecosystem.
Responsibilities include researching AI platforms, developing target lists, executing outreach, negotiating partnership agreements, and understanding the competitive landscape.
The role involves building relationships with stakeholders, developing joint go-to-market strategies, coordinating customer engagements, and collaborating with marketing teams.
The position requires serving as a liaison for technical integrations, translating partner needs, and supporting marketing and sales teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar DevOps platforms and Git-based workflows.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with AI integrations and an understanding of AI/ML workflows with developer tools is required.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary for strategic thinking and balancing short-term execution with long-term vision.
Experience in strategic partnerships or business development in enterprise software or AI/ML companies is essential.
Excellent project management skills are required to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
