Description:

  • The Principal Technical Consultant, Integrations Specialist is a functional and technical expert within the Customer Excellence Group at ServiceNow.
  • This role involves consulting with customers and configuring ServiceNow Integrations based on best practices to drive customer business outcomes.
  • The consultant will design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party software platforms, programs, and applications.
  • Responsibilities include leveraging AI in work processes, devising integration development plans, and implementing the latest ServiceNow AI offerings.
  • The consultant will develop solutions based on user requirements, coordinate with other developers, and ensure best practices in integration processes are followed.
  • The role requires acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to solve complex user issues related to Integrations and AI solutions.
  • Additional tasks include checking and correcting data configuration conflicts, analyzing current instance configurations, and advising on system errors or architecture issues.

Requirements:

  • An active security clearance is required for this position.
  • Candidates must have at least 8 years of configuration/development experience with complex integration technologies.
  • A demonstrated ability to influence and consult in complex customer environments is essential.
  • Candidates must maintain at least 2 ServiceNow mainline CIS certifications and a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
  • The role requires experience in architecting systems integrations and creating complex high-level architecture diagrams.
  • Extensive experience with integration technologies such as Web Services (REST/SOAP), middleware, and SaaS technologies is necessary.
  • Understanding of AI Models, Deep Learning Models, and Large Language Models, particularly Generative AI, is required.
  • Experience with ServiceNow’s Predictive/Task Intelligence, AI Search, and Virtual Agent is highly valued.
  • Candidates should have experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, data management, and database design.
  • Strong Javascript skills and experience with technical components like LDAP, VPN, and SSO are required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, and a customer-centric attitude are essential.
  • The ability to perform tasks independently and good presentation and report-writing skills are necessary.
  • Up to 30% travel annually is expected.
