Remote Principal Technologist - Global Strategics

• We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Technologist (PT) to serve as a strategic technology leader for our customers and partners in the financial services industry.
• The Principal Technologist will drive technical innovation, shape product direction based on market needs, and provide thought leadership.
• This role requires deep technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to engage with C-level executives and technical teams.
• Key responsibilities include serving as a strategic technology advisor, developing customer relationships, collaborating with various teams, and representing the company at industry events.
• The role also involves providing feedback on market trends, partnering with engineering teams, developing proof-of-concepts, and staying ahead of emerging technologies.
• The Principal Technologist will act as a public-facing technical leader, support field teams, collaborate with marketing, and mentor internal teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles specific to the financial services industry.
• Deep expertise in cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, data architecture, or a related technology domain is required.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage solutions, including storage architectures and hybrid/multi-cloud data strategies, is essential.
• Candidates should have the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executive stakeholders.
• A proven track record of engaging with Fortune 500 enterprises and influencing technical decision-making is necessary.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills are required.
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise software solutions is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet customers and attend industry events is required.

• The annual base salary range for this position is $185,000 - $328,000 USD, with potential for incentive pay and/or equity.
