We are seeking an Outsourcing UI Artist to collaborate closely with both internal and external teams on UI Assets for Cosmetics.
In this role, you will work with the producer on scheduling and coordinate with the internal development team to meet project needs.
You will manage the delivery of assets from external vendors and serve as the primary point of contact for external partners.
The candidate must be extremely nimble, with strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to varying time schedules, evolving project needs, and non-traditional hours across different time zones.
The role includes managerial responsibilities and is also hands-on, involving the intake and assessment of assets to ensure they meet the required standards.
You will provide valuable feedback on art assets from outsource to maintain quality and consistency throughout the project.
Requirements:
A passion for maintaining high-quality standards and pushing the boundaries of UI design in games is essential.
Proficiency in Unreal Engine and Adobe Suite is required, with animation and 3D experience being a plus.
Experience with Autodesk Flow Production Tracking and Confluence is required.
A strong understanding of graphic design, animation, UI VFX, and materials is necessary.
Attention to detail and clear organizational skills are crucial, along with a mind for problem-solving large-scale asset management and pipeline inefficiencies.
A solid grasp of game feel, design affordances, and visual shape/color language is expected.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required, along with a natural curiosity for the bigger picture and the ability to work well in a team environment.
A continuous drive for artistic growth by staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques in UI and game development pipelines is important.
Value for an inclusive and empathetic work culture is essential.
Live service project experience is preferred, but shipping experience is required.
