The Software Engineer on the search Engineering team will support and develop the search infrastructure of the company, working with terabytes of data for indexing, ranking, and retrieval of medical data.
The Search Engineering team is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's core search infrastructure to enable fast, accurate, and scalable search across large datasets.
Responsibilities include writing and maintaining code for data ingestion in Elasticsearch, designing high-performance APIs, building end-to-end features using Node.js and GraphQL, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The role requires taking ownership of the search codebase, debugging and resolving issues, producing high-quality maintainable code, and focusing on performance optimization.
The engineer will communicate effectively in a dynamic environment and stay updated with advancements in AI and search technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 1–2 years of professional experience.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Node.js, and Python are mandatory.
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Scala, Hadoop, PySpark, Golang, GraphQL, Elasticsearch, and LLMs is a plus.
