Your work will help organizations patch vulnerabilities, mitigate emerging threats, and maintain compliance β all without needing to upgrade or replace their infrastructure.
This is a fully remote position with a flexible schedule, giving you the freedom to plan your day and work from anywhere in the world.
Your tasks will include analyzing security vulnerabilities in Python frameworks and libraries, backporting upstream patches to maintain security of older software versions, researching evolving exploitation techniques and threat patterns, extending the scope of supported Python-based software, and collaborating with a distributed team of engineers to ensure patch quality and timely releases.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a Python Developer with 3+ years of experience and a desire to pivot into security, or a Security Researcher with 4+ years of experience and solid Python programming ability.
Experience with testing (unit and integration) is required.
A confident Linux user at user/admin level is necessary.
An upper-intermediate or higher level of English (B2+) is required.
The candidate must be willing and able to work on a B2B basis (registered sole proprietor or ready to register one).
