The QA Automation Engineer will be part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with Software Engineers and Product Owners to deliver innovative solutions in the smart mobility ecosystem.
Responsibilities include driving the software testing lifecycle, executing manual test scenarios, coordinating integration testing, and contributing to the design and maintenance of automated Test Suites for mobile applications.
The role involves cooperation with Development teams, QA members, and the Delivery Manager to ensure high-quality deliverables, as well as collaboration with Business Analysts and Product Owners to define testable user stories.
The QA Automation Engineer will also be involved in test management activities, promote continuous improvement, and suggest new technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on automation.
Experience with Mobile Application testing on production-grade systems is required.
Good knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or Python is necessary.
Experience with automation tools/frameworks for End-to-End Testing on mobile applications, such as Appium, is essential.
Candidates should have experience in API Testing and related tools like Postman/Newman.
Familiarity with version control and defect tracking tools such as GIT and JIRA is required.
A background in Agile methodologies is preferred.
A BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline is necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.
Fluency in English is mandatory due to the multinational nature of the company.
Active contribution as a team player and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential.
