Veeam is seeking a Middle/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java) to join the team working on Veeam Backup for Salesforce.
The role involves developing testing strategies for software products.
Responsibilities include developing automated tests for integration and functional scenarios, covering backend, frontend, and data storage systems.
The engineer will be tasked with developing and improving current automation tools and maintaining test documentation.
Validating tests and scenarios written by other testers is also a key responsibility.
Conducting test cycles using functional, integration, and load testing is required.
The engineer will evaluate test results, prepare reports, and make suggestions for quality improvement.
Analyzing results, increasing test coverage, participating in development, and implementing new approaches to product testing are essential tasks.
Requirements:
Candidates must have knowledge of Java and SQL.
A solid understanding of REST, SOAP, and HTTP is required.
Experience with Selenium and API testing is necessary.
Knowledge of Docker and the principles of distributed systems is expected.
Familiarity with automated testing tools such as TestNG, JUnit, and NUnit is required.
Candidates should possess skills and experience in collecting system requirements.
An understanding of system interoperability and the differences between various types of testing is essential.
