Trella Health is seeking a QA Automation Lead to architect and drive the automation strategy from the ground up.
This role involves building scalable automation frameworks that support UI, API, mobile, and data validation.
The QA Automation Lead will define the automation roadmap, select tools, implement best practices, and embed automation into the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities include mentoring and upskilling QA team members and fostering a culture of quality engineering.
The position is remote-first, with a preference for candidates near regional hubs in Atlanta, Nashville, or Philadelphia.
The role reports to the Director of Quality Assurance.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years in QA Automation, with at least 3 years leading automation framework development from scratch.
Expertise in automation tools and libraries such as Playwright, Cypress, REST-assured, Postman, and PyTest is required.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, including TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Java, is necessary.
Demonstrated experience in architecting automated solutions for UI, API, data validation, and mobile testing is essential.
A deep knowledge of CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins is required.
Strong understanding of QA strategy, test design techniques, and coverage models is necessary.
Experience integrating with test management platforms, such as TestRail, is required.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentorship and knowledge sharing are essential.
