The role of Software Quality Engineer involves taking ownership of product feature quality, including testing strategy, manual test plan implementation, automation, and status updates.
Responsibilities include advocating for customers to ensure high-quality, user-friendly products, driving quality solutions, collaborating on user stories, performing manual testing, and managing test plans.
The position requires analyzing production issues, communicating with stakeholders, and providing timely updates on release statuses.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in manual testing, test strategy, creating test cases, defect management, and risk mitigation.
A minimum of 2 years of experience partnering with quality and engineering teams to drive improvements is required.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of automation experience, preferably with Playwright or Cypress.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git is necessary.
Strong ability to switch between manual and automated testing methods is essential.
Expertise in various testing methods, including clear box and backend testing, is required.
Proficiency with issue tracking and test case management tools like Jira and Zephyr is necessary.
Candidates must be proactive in anticipating issues and translating them into solutions.
Strong skills in identifying and documenting the root cause of bugs are required.
Experience with SaaS applications and agile methodologies is necessary.
A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is essential.
