Remote QA Engineer (Automation and Manual)

Description:

• The position is for a QA Engineer (Fullstack - Manual & Automation) and is fully remote.
• The QA Engineer will report directly to the QA Lead.
• The general purpose of the role is to perform manual and automated testing for the company's internal CRM system and other products, ensuring high product quality, stable releases, and efficient defect management processes.
• Specific objectives for the first 12 months include achieving 30% automated test coverage for CRM functionalities, maintaining a zero-bug policy for critical defects in production releases, and independently identifying defects and validating fixes.
• Key activities include performing comprehensive manual testing of CRM features, developing and executing automated test scripts using TypeScript with Playwright and Python with Pytest, reporting and tracking defects, conducting regression testing, and monitoring build processes.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on QA experience in manual testing, backend, and web-based applications is required.
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect management tools is essential.
• Proven experience with automated testing frameworks, specifically TypeScript with Playwright and Python with Pytest, is necessary.
• Proficient programming skills in TypeScript and/or Python are required.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and managing test cases across multiple code branches is important.
• The candidate must be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced product development environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and drive quality discussions are essential.
• Industry experience in Forex/Crypto or online trading platforms is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Russian (B2+) and English (B2+) is required.
