Remote QA Engineer

• The QA Software Engineer position is part of the Governance team, which develops both front-end and back-end services for Access Control and Governance capabilities.
• This is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office and the remainder remote.
• The role involves developing and executing test plans for new features, bug fixes, and platform enhancements.
• Responsibilities include designing, writing, and maintaining automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium or Playwright, performing manual testing, collaborating with developers and product managers, identifying and documenting software defects, conducting performance and load testing, participating in code reviews, working with CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to QA process improvements.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, particularly with cloud-based applications, is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes is essential.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright is required.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure is needed.
• A solid understanding of API testing using tools like Postman is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Proficiency with issue tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps is required.
• Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices is necessary.
