Remote QA Engineer

Description:

• We are looking for a proactive QA engineer with strong mobile and API testing experience who is confident with Allure TestOps, Postman, DevTools, SQL, and Git.
• You will create clear test plans, ensure coverage, find and track bugs, and partner with product and engineering to ship reliable releases fast.
• Responsibilities include finding, documenting, and tracking bugs, writing test cases, test plans, and checklists, and ensuring optimal test coverage across features and releases.
• You will join grooming sessions and help with clear task decomposition.
• The role involves testing mobile apps for iOS and Android and working closely with product, design, and engineering teams.
• A strong knowledge of testing theory and types such as functional, regression, smoke, and integration is required.
• Experience with test artifacts such as checklists, bug reports, test cases, and test plans is necessary.
• You will manage tests with Allure TestOps and have mobile testing experience for iOS and Android.
• API testing for REST using Postman or Insomnia is part of the role.
• Confident use of browser DevTools and experience with bug and task trackers such as Asana is expected.
• SQL for checks and data validation with PostgreSQL is required.
• Daily work with Git, GitLab, and GitHub is part of the job.
• You should have the ability to read code and communicate with engineers in languages such as JavaScript, Java, and Python.
• Log reading and dashboards with Grafana are also part of the responsibilities.
• Experience with traffic sniffers such as Charles and Fiddler is a nice to have.
• Test automation experience is preferred, with knowledge in JavaScript or TypeScript with Cypress or Playwright, or Java with Gradle, TestNG, and RestAssured.

• Daily work with Git, GitLab, and GitHub is expected.
