Remote QA Engineer

Description:

• Humata Health is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of AI-powered healthcare solutions.
• The position is hybrid or remote, based in Orlando, Florida, or anywhere in the US.
• Responsibilities include developing test plans and test cases based on product and technical requirements.
• The QA Engineer will collaborate with product managers and customer success teams to validate customer workflows and ensure solutions meet real-world needs.
• The role involves troubleshooting and reproducing issues from internal testing and customer reports, providing clear documentation for engineering resolution.
• Participation in agile development cycles to verify stories and features during sprints is required.
• The engineer will run regression tests before releases to ensure overall system stability.
• Manual exploratory testing will be conducted to identify edge cases and usability concerns.
• The role includes logging, prioritizing, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, collaborating with developers for quick resolution.
• Contributions to refining testing tools, practices, and workflows as the team scales are expected.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in the health tech or software industry is required.
• Proficiency in test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is necessary, and familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is needed.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment is required.
