Humata Health is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of AI-powered healthcare solutions.
The position is hybrid or remote, based in Orlando, Florida, or anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities include developing test plans and test cases based on product and technical requirements.
The QA Engineer will collaborate with product managers and customer success teams to validate customer workflows and ensure solutions meet real-world needs.
The role involves troubleshooting and reproducing issues from internal testing and customer reports, providing clear documentation for engineering resolution.
Participation in agile development cycles to verify stories and features during sprints is required.
The engineer will run regression tests before releases to ensure overall system stability.
Manual exploratory testing will be conducted to identify edge cases and usability concerns.
The role includes logging, prioritizing, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, collaborating with developers for quick resolution.
Contributions to refining testing tools, practices, and workflows as the team scales are expected.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in the health tech or software industry is required.
Proficiency in test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is necessary, and familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is needed.
Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment is required.
