The QA Engineer III will find bugs, defects, and regressions in software products.
This role involves designing, implementing, executing, and debugging test cases and/or automated test scripts.
The engineer will validate and document the completion of testing and development.
They will verify fixes and help ensure successful releases by planning and executing test activities for exploratory and regression testing.

Requirements:
Candidates must review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
They should develop testing plans and scenarios in accordance with functional requirements and technical specifications provided by the design team.
The ability to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within a cross-functional development team is required.
Candidates must design, develop, and execute test cases and/or automation scripts using provided tools.
They should identify, record, document, and track bugs throughout the testing process.
Regular regression, exploratory, and system testing must be performed as required.
Candidates must monitor and maintain bug backlogs for accuracy and update test instances as necessary.
Strong diagnostic skills to properly test software and measure product quality are essential.
A technical background is necessary to create proper testing scenarios from functional requirements and specifications.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and writing SQL queries is required.
Experience with QA testing on ERP type applications/systems is preferred.
Familiarity with administrative software for higher education and automated testing tools is a plus.
Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language is also a plus.
Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $62,000-$77,000/year, with base pay varying based on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
