Pano AI is a growth-stage hybrid-remote start-up focused on early wildfire detection and intelligence.
The QA Engineer will drive quality initiatives to unlock new end-to-end capabilities for users while building scalable and maintainable validation pipelines.
The role requires collaboration with teammates across the entire stack to validate new features that positively impact users and the business.
Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, developing test plans, creating test cases, automating and executing tests, identifying defects, and tracking bug reports.
The QA Engineer will collaborate with product managers and developers, execute manual or exploratory testing as needed, and implement and maintain automation test suites using Cypress and k6.
Participation in on-call rotation to respond to, triage, mitigate, and resolve production issues is also required.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer is required.
At least 3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced SaaS or similar business environment is necessary.
Expertise in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and QA processes for API and UI testing is essential.
Experience with automation testing frameworks, particularly Cypress, and knowledge of visual and accessibility testing is required.
Familiarity with performance testing tools, such as k6, is necessary.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing and maintaining automation scripts is required.
Experience with issue-tracking systems, such as Jira, and familiarity with test-management systems, such as TestRail, is necessary.
Knowledge of SQL and proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during testing is required.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $127,000 - $170,000 per year, based on qualifications, education, experience, and location.
The position is also eligible for stock options.
