Remote QA Engineer - Tietoevry Create ( m/f/d)

Description:

• The position is for a QA Analyst at Tietoevry Create, located in the USA and is remote.
• The duration of the role is 6 months or more.
• The salary range is between $70K and $75K per annum.
• Candidates must have a valid work permit, such as USC or GC holders.
• The QA Analyst will be responsible for developing, updating, and implementing test plans.
• The role includes writing and maintaining test automation as needed and supporting quality assurance standards.
• The QA Analyst will monitor all stages of application development to identify and resolve system/process malfunctions to meet quality standards.
• Responsibilities include reviewing requirements and technical design documents, creating detailed test plans and test cases, estimating and coordinating testing activities, performing quality assurance testing, and documenting bugs and testing results.
• The role requires collaboration with different development teams and communication with multiple levels of personnel.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have proven work experience in software quality assurance and development.
• A strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is required.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases that meet corporate standards and industry best practices is necessary.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting is essential.
• Candidates should have solid experience in web application automation using Selenium and Java.
• A strong understanding of multiple platforms and complex processes, including Java, REST API, ETL tools (Informatica), and databases, is required for QA/testing.
• Experience with various test management tools like ALM and JIRA is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and with performance testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools is required.
• Candidates must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and possess strong organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of security protocols, including OAuth, IDM, and SSO, is necessary.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or related experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a QA Analyst, with roles of increasing responsibility and complexity, is necessary.
