Remote QA Tester

Description:

• The QA Tester is responsible for test planning, documenting, coordinating, and executing activities related to the testing of applications and systems.
• The primary focus will include some manual testing with the majority in automated test execution for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Responsibilities include writing and maintaining automated test scripts that address areas such as software requirements, regression testing, data validation, and usability.
• The QA Tester will identify, analyze, and document problems with applications, online screens, or content.
• Documenting and reporting software defects is a key responsibility.
• The role involves monitoring bug resolution efforts and tracking successes.
• The QA Tester will provide input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, and risk assessment.
• Developing testing plans based on functional requirements and product design is required.
• The QA Tester will review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Contributing to improvements that will accomplish team and business goals is expected.
• Performing all duties with efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness is essential.
• Completion of other projects as assigned is also part of the role.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
• The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance testing.
• Experience in test automation is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and Selenium is necessary.
• The candidate should have proven analytic skills, troubleshooting issues, and providing recommendations.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams is required.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are necessary to interact with staff, colleagues, management, and internal/external customers.
• The candidate should be self-motivated and a creative thinker.
