The position is for a React Native Engineer to help build and refine the app, which is already in production.
The role is fully remote, with a preference for offshore candidates, requiring 4 hours of overlap with the 8-5 PM PST time zone.
The technical team includes 2 backend developers, 1 web frontend developer, a mobile developer, a CTO, a part-time designer, and a part-time QA, all working offshore.
The company does not work on sprints but uses an Asana board for ticket management on a rolling basis.
The pay is at or above market rate based on local standards.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 4 years of app development experience using React Native, with a focus on mobile development (80% mobile, 20% web).
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Typescript is required.
Candidates should embody the core values of competitive greatness, unimpeachable character, and speed is king.
Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure is considered a nice to have.
A solid understanding of React components, hooks, lifecycle methods, and DOM manipulation is essential.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, design patterns, and object-oriented design is required.
Experience with REST APIs is necessary.
Hands-on experience with GitHub, including pull requests, branches, and commits, is required.
