Remote Remote Backend Developer - Nordic Language Required

Description:

• We are seeking a Backend Developer to join a leading Norwegian energy company on a real-time electric vehicle charging project.
• The role involves developing and maintaining systems that interact with EV charging stations and external partners in real time.
• Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable APIs.
• The developer will work with WebSocket communication and protocols such as OCPP and OCPI.
• The position requires integrating external partners and managing communication with charging stations.
• The developer will manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, BigQuery, Redis, and Firebase.
• Monitoring and debugging production systems using structured logging and performance tools is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript.
• A deep understanding of WebSockets, real-time APIs, and event-driven systems is required.
• Experience with Google Cloud Services is necessary.
• Candidates should have confidence working with OCPP and OCPI protocols.
• The ability to write and maintain clean, well-documented APIs is essential.
• Experience in monitoring and debugging production systems is required.
• Fluency in Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish is mandatory.
