The role is open to independent contractors from any location within the Americas region, with a requirement to overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Requirements:
Candidates must be eligible to work as an independent contractor from any location within the Americas region.
For US applicants, the ability to work as an independent contractor under an LLC, C-Corp, or S-Corp is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is necessary.
Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to gather requirements and explain technical decisions clearly.
A demonstrated ownership mindset is required, with the ability to take initiative and see tasks through to completion with minimal oversight.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, with deep hands-on experience in DBT.
Proficiency or experience with relevant tools and technologies is required, including DBT, Python, SQL (Redshift/Postgres), and Git.
Familiarity with Fivetran, AWS Glue, Tableau, and Metabase is preferred.
Comfort with debugging data pipelines, maintaining legacy systems, and working with systems developed by previous teams is necessary.
