The role of the US Enterprise Sales Engineer involves supporting the technical components of the sales process for enterprise accounts.
The Sales Engineer will partner closely with Account Executives to understand customer needs, demonstrate product value, lead Proof of Values, and address technical requirements or concerns.
This position is instrumental in driving technical validation and accelerating deal cycles.
Responsibilities include serving as the technical lead during the sales process, leading technical discovery, delivering customized product demos, designing and supporting PoVs and pilots, responding to RFIs/RFPs, collaborating with various teams, and representing GreyNoise at industry events.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture roles in the cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS space.
A deep familiarity with threat intelligence, SIEM/SOAR/TIP, and incident response workflows is required.
A strong understanding of enterprise security architectures and technical decision-making is essential.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role.
Experience with API integrations, scripting (e.g., Python), and tools like curl and JSON is required.
The ability to present technical content to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders is crucial.
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively is expected.
