The company is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team, acting as a bridge between technical expertise and business value.
The role involves helping prospective customers understand how Orkes can solve their challenges through technical insight.
Daily responsibilities include gaining a deep understanding of Orkes' platform, partnering with sales representatives for customer engagement, leading technical presentations, collaborating with customers to gather requirements, designing solutions, supporting customer RFIs and RFPs, providing feedback to product teams, collaborating with various teams to drive deals to closure, and driving customer training on the Orkes platform.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role is required.
Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures is essential.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Node.js, is necessary.
Experience with orchestration tools, workflow engines, or similar technologies is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The ability to map customer requirements to visualize compelling solutions leveraging Orkesโ platform capabilities is crucial.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Hands-on experience with workflow development and APIs is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
Prior experience working with open-source software or communities is preferred.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and system integrations is important.
