  • Simon Data is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join their pre-sales team.
  • The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth by working closely with potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing technical solutions.
  • This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent technical solutioning and demoing skills, teamwork, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key technical stakeholders.
  • Responsibilities include understanding prospects' business objectives, pain points, and technical architecture, and helping them understand the Simon Platform.
  • The Sales Engineer will create custom demonstrations and proof of concept materials to win over technology executives and improve conversion likelihood.
  • They will serve as a trusted advisor on marketing engagement and customer experience platforms.
  • The role involves collaborating with the Director of Sales Engineering to craft a world-class prospect journey and partnering with Customer Success and Product teams for seamless customer onboarding.
  • The Sales Engineer will also work closely with the Partner team to enable and recruit technology and agency partners, and collaborate with Product leadership on customer requests and product roadmap.
  • Additional tasks include creating videos, webinars, and visual assets for marketing and sales collateral.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of professional sales engineering or solutions engineering experience.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS company is required, with a preference for MarTech (specifically CDP) and high-growth startup experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, with a technical degree being a plus.
  • Candidates should have the ability to partner with marketing, data, and engineering teams to design scalable solutions.
  • Experience in mapping marketing objectives to technical solutions and articulating their impact on channel performance and revenue growth is necessary.
  • Proficiency in SQL is strongly preferred, along with experience in other database technologies or programming languages.
  • Experience working with partner teams to align on joint value propositions and co-selling strategies is a plus.
  • Candidates should be curious, driven self-starters excited to implement a newly defined sales engineering motion.
  • A strategic problem solver who can succeed in an unstructured and fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Previous experience as a top performer in prior roles is required.
  • Superior emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and strong presentation skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams is essential.

Benefits:

  • The potential base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience.
