  • ZEDEDA delivers a distributed, cloud-native edge management and orchestration solution, simplifying the security and remote management of edge infrastructure and applications at scale.
  • The Sales Solution Architect (SSA) will enable conversations with ZEDEDA’s customer-side Enterprise, Cloud, and Edge/IoT Architects.
  • The SSA must have led and/or been part of multiple sales deals in both IT and OT, particularly in verticals such as Oil & Gas, Renewables, Industrial Automation, Retail, and Automotive.
  • The SSA should articulate the value proposition of ZEDEDA and assist with design wins by collaborating closely with customer architecture teams.
  • The SSA will understand end-to-end deployment schemes and partner with customers to enable their Edge solutions, including identifying the correct architecture, tools, partners, and logistics.
  • The SSA drives and actively participates in Proof of Concept/Values with customers, providing hands-on support.
  • The role involves establishing long-term relationships with assigned accounts, aligning ZEDEDA’s solutions with clients' key business initiatives, and being the Single Point of Contact for all presales technical activities.
  • The SSA will work collaboratively with the Client Executive to understand customer requirements and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
  • The SSA will leverage technical resources to expand ZEDEDA’s footprint, identify opportunities to displace competition, add products, and expand globally.
  • The role supports account-based marketing strategies to drive technology proliferation campaigns, including adoption and deployment.
  • The SSA will participate in product enhancement discussions and competitive solution positioning.
  • The SSA will lead opportunity qualification and drive technical campaigns for complex engagements while staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Participation in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and its solutions is also required.
  • The SSA will demonstrate ZEDEDA solutions, products, and technology relevant to specific customer segments.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have experience with large-scale deployments, virtualization, edge networking, and security, as well as relevant edge applications for corresponding verticals.
  • A good understanding of hardware platforms and their fit within customer deployments is required.
  • The candidate should have a solid understanding of virtualization, Kubernetes, and Docker Compose.
  • An understanding of operational needs when deploying large-scale edge solutions is essential.
  • The candidate must demonstrate industry-recognized credibility in the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Industrial Automation, Retail, and Automotive verticals.
  • A BS in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field is required.
  • The candidate should have 6-8 years of experience in presales and solution architecture roles with customer-facing responsibilities using engineering software.
  • Experience selling to large enterprises and enterprises in emerging markets is necessary.
  • The ability to understand, represent, and effectively communicate all technical activities and product offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, along with a sense of urgency, are required.
  • The candidate must project a professional image, demonstrate business acumen, and be driven to succeed.
  • The ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives is essential.
  • The role requires the ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to foster collaboration and coordination with personnel distributed across multiple global sites.
