SAP Fioneer is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Defense Engineer to join their cybersecurity team.
This role is critical in managing and optimizing security platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Zscaler, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender.
The engineer will enhance threat detection, response, and prevention capabilities across a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities include administering and maintaining security configurations, ensuring seamless integration between platforms, and monitoring platform performance.
The engineer will develop and fine-tune detection rules and alerts, investigate security incidents, and collaborate with SOC teams for incident response.
The role involves implementing and enforcing security policies, ensuring compliance with security standards, and automating tasks using scripting languages.
Collaboration with IT, Security Engineering, Development, and Risk teams is essential to align security controls with business needs.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations is necessary.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and Zscaler is required.
A strong understanding of network security, identity and access management, and cloud security principles is essential.
Proficiency in KQL, PowerShell, or Python for automation and analysis is required.
Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications such as AZ-500, SC-200, Zscaler Certified Professional, or CISSP.
Experience with Zero Trust architecture and familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework is preferred.
