The Security Engineer II will ensure proper deployment and configuration of professional security services offerings, setting customers on the path to effective security monitoring.
The role involves solving various problems related to implementing, configuring, and educating clients on SIEM and SOAR applications.
The successful candidate will engage with sales, project management, managed services, and customers, understanding their requirements to recommend appropriate SIEM solutions.
Responsibilities include leading customer engagements, staying updated with threat intelligence, designing and tuning threat detection regimes, supporting the sales process, generating documentation for Splunk solutions, and developing technical solutions to automate tasks.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience in an information security role.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud computing and security considerations is required.
Experience in designing and implementing security controls for custom applications in cloud environments is necessary.
A proven track record of collaborating with development teams to deliver secure systems is essential.
Candidates should have experience securing containerized environments and managing container security.
In-depth knowledge of deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management is required.
Solid understanding of security risks and threats to large organizational systems and networks is necessary.
Experience in designing systems to meet regulatory compliance such as PCI, SOC, and SOX is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve issues with a proactive approach are essential.
