The company is seeking a Security Engineer specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join their Information Security team.
This role is essential for supporting M&A activities, ensuring smooth integration of acquired companies, and maintaining high security standards.
Responsibilities include traveling to acquisition target sites (50%+ travel required) to assess their security posture.
The Security Engineer will conduct comprehensive security evaluations of potential acquisition targets.
They will develop and implement security recommendations for acquired companies to align with Anduril's security standards.
The role involves designing and executing integration plans to incorporate acquired companies into Anduril's security infrastructure.
The engineer will establish and maintain visibility across newly integrated systems and networks.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is necessary to ensure seamless integration of security practices during M&A processes.
The position requires architecting and implementing defensive security controls for cloud, production, and corporate environments of both Anduril and acquired companies.
Requirements:
A minimum of 50% travel is required for this position.
Candidates must have knowledge of modern adversary tradecraft and mitigating controls.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with strong programming ability in one or more general-purpose languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc.) is required, along with familiarity with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production capacity.
Experience conducting security architecture or design reviews around custom business applications is necessary.
Candidates should have experience developing and implementing defensive controls around endpoint and SaaS applications.
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects is essential.
Candidates must have participated in or supported incident response events.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
