  • Key accountabilities include partnering with technical teams to design security into infrastructure, conducting security assessments and penetration tests, monitoring data protection policies, assisting in vulnerability management programs, supporting security operations, contributing to integration projects, and maintaining documentation and tools for security operations.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in security engineering or architecture within software organizations.
  • Experience in securing cloud platforms is necessary, with multi-cloud experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in scripting, preferably in Python, and familiarity with the Linux command line is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with at least one vulnerability management tool, such as Wiz, Rapid7, or Sumo.
  • An understanding of cryptographic protocols and security standards, including PKI and TLS/SSL, is essential.
  • Knowledge of frameworks like CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
