Scalable Capital is seeking a seasoned security professional to lead and scale their Security Operations Center (SOC).
The SOC manager will establish and refine SOC processes, mentor and grow a team of analysts, and serve as the primary point of contact for all incident response and security monitoring activities.
Responsibilities include managing day-to-day SOC operations, developing and maintaining SOC playbooks, leading major security incidents, defining and tracking SOC metrics, overseeing SIEM/SOAR platform optimization, conducting risk assessments, mentoring SOC analysts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and evaluating new security tools.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience in cybersecurity operations in a leadership or SOC management role.
A deep understanding of SIEM, SOAR, incident response methodologies, threat intelligence, and cloud security (AWS preferred) is required.
A proven track record of building or scaling a SOC, including process development and team management, is essential.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (GSOC, GCIH) are a plus.
Exceptional communication skills are necessary, with the ability to translate complex technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive, results-oriented mindset, are required.
Experience aligning security operations with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, DORA, PCI-DSS, etc.) is also necessary.
