An international technology company is seeking a Senior Python Developer with a strong background in system-level programming and Linux internals.

The role involves working on mission-critical products that enhance Linux server security, enable live patching, and improve overall system reliability.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Python-based tools for security automation and threat detection, improving protection mechanisms for Linux infrastructure, analyzing and mitigating security vulnerabilities, configuring and maintaining WAF and detection rules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, automating security workflows, and researching new security technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of commercial experience with Python.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux in production environments is required.
Experience with system programming concepts such as sockets, filesystems, and process management is necessary.
Familiarity with security tools and techniques, including WAF, ModSecurity, IDS/IPS, and regular expressions, is essential.
Experience with CI/CD systems and automation, preferably with Ansible and Jenkins, is required.
