As a Solution Architect with a Segment focus, you will guide clients in designing and implementing data infrastructure for customer engagement strategies.
Your responsibilities will include leading technical discovery, designing scalable Segment implementations, and optimizing data pipelines from first-party data collection to audience activation.
You will collaborate with other consultants to create integrated solutions that support Braze and other tools in the customer engagement stack.
Your role will evolve to include implementations in additional platforms as client needs change and your expertise grows.
You will serve as the primary technical expert for Twilio Segment implementations and optimizations across multiple accounts.
You will translate complex business needs into scalable Segment configurations and advise clients on data strategy and best practices.
You will document integration points and ensure seamless data flow across platforms while developing functional design specifications.
You will design and implement end-to-end solutions that align business objectives with technical execution.
You will build and manage complex data structures to support personalized customer experiences and utilize Braze’s segmentation tools for targeted messaging.
You will design sophisticated campaign flows using Braze’s Canvas tool and manage your time to achieve quarterly billable hour targets.
You will stay informed about advancements in Braze and its technology partners, earning and maintaining a minimum of 3 Braze certifications.
Occasional travel, up to 20%, to client sites will be required for strategic discussions.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Segment or a similar Customer Data Platform (CDP).
You should be confident in configuring data flows and troubleshooting implementation issues across various sources.
A strong understanding of identity resolution, user traits, event schema design, and data governance practices is essential.
You must have experience in developing and documenting custom solutions effectively.
Familiarity with tools that integrate into Segment and Braze, such as Snowflake, Redshift, Mixpanel, mParticle, and Amplitude, is required.
Strong organization and delegation skills are necessary for this role.
You should be able to articulate marketing technology best practices and translate them into practical implementation recommendations.
Agility to adapt and consult on new technologies is important, along with strong prioritization and time management skills.
Excellent strategic and technical thinking abilities are required to envision holistic solutions that align with customer objectives.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent customer engagements successfully is essential.
You must be confident in leading customer-facing discussions and presentations.
The ability to travel up to 20% is required.
You must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
