Seller Systems Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning.
This role combines hands-on financial management with strategic oversight to ensure the company’s financial health and scalability.
Responsibilities include overseeing month-end close processes, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting financial reporting and analysis, processing payroll, and preparing for audits.
The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, maintain internal controls, and manage corporate spending policies.
The position also involves leading budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning, managing cash flow, overseeing banking relationships, and tracking runway projections.
The role is remote and available to US-based candidates only, reporting directly to the CEO.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a startup, SaaS, or e-commerce environment preferred.
A strong knowledge of GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close procedures is required.
Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management is essential.
Hands-on experience with payroll processing, tax compliance, and regulatory filings is necessary.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Stripe, and Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Candidates must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of financial functions in a growing company is crucial.
Strong communication skills are necessary for collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with SaaS financial structures and tax implications is a plus.

The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
