Responsibilities include architecting, developing, and deploying production-grade AI models for medical image analysis, leading research and development in various applications, and fine-tuning large language models for clinical tasks.
The engineer will also drive model explainability and regulatory-aligned transparency, design robust pipelines for scalable AI/ML infrastructure, and lead MLOps initiatives.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, staying updated on deep learning research, and translating state-of-the-art methods into practical systems are also key aspects of the role.
Requirements:
A BSc in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required, with an MSc or PhD strongly preferred.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in deep learning, computer vision, or medical AI.
Strong proficiency in PyTorch and/or TensorFlow is essential.
Proven experience with architectures such as CNNs, Transformers, U-Net, EfficientNet, and ViTs is required.
A deep understanding of model optimization techniques, including quantization, pruning, ONNX, and TensorRT, is necessary.
Experience with large-scale data pipelines, class imbalance handling, and metric-driven training is expected.
Proficiency in Git, experiment tracking tools (e.g., Comet, MLflow), and CI/CD automation is required.
The ability to lead technically while also executing hands-on development when needed is essential.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills in cross-disciplinary teams are necessary.
