Get Well is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior AI Engineer to join their growing team of AI experts.
The focus of this role is on building and operationalizing advanced AI solutions that drive business value, operational efficiency, and personalized patient engagement.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in LLMs, ML, and related technologies, particularly in training, customizing, and deploying models for real-world use cases.
The successful candidate will work through all phases of the AI development life cycle, from data strategy and model development to production deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
Collaboration with product, engineering, and clinical teams is essential to ensure the integration of scalable, secure, and high-impact AI systems in business processes.
This position reports directly to the SVP, Data & AI, and involves working with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions that enhance precision care, patient engagement, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, ML, or a related technical field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience in training and fine-tuning LLMs, implementing multimodal AI solutions, and working through the complete AI development lifecycle.
Technical proficiency in Python programming and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is necessary.
Experience with fine-tuning techniques for LLMs, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and cloud computing platforms is required.
Candidates should have experience developing AI systems in regulated environments, particularly healthcare, and familiarity with CI/CD for ML workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, agile environments are essential.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, along with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A basic understanding of healthcare data types and workflows, as well as awareness of healthcare regulatory requirements, is preferred.
Candidates must adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect sensitive information in accordance with regulations.
Benefits:
The estimated pay for this position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000 in base salary, plus bonuses, with the base salary dependent on education, experience, and skills.
