OXIO is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the design and development of complex AI solutions.
Responsibilities include optimizing algorithms, designing experiments, managing AI solution requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The role requires staying updated with AI technology trends and applying statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze data.
The engineer will develop scalable models for real-time data, align business objectives with data science solutions, and lead product development efforts.
Performance will be measured by the effectiveness of AI solutions, model performance, impact of innovative solutions, and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI, with progressive tech lead roles.
Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and advanced statistical and machine learning techniques is essential.
Experience with high-performance, large-scale ML systems, GPUs, Kubernetes, and ML acceleration hardware is required.
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Docker, DBT, Airflow, and Databricks is necessary.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (including libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, PySpark) and SQL is required.
Knowledge of DevOps and monitoring tools like Git, CI/CD tools, Terraform/CloudFormation, and Datadog is essential.
Experience with generative AI and large language models for various tasks is preferred.
Candidates should have skills in designing tailored ML models, optimizing algorithms, and building evaluation frameworks for machine learning models.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills are necessary for managing data science teams.
