Remote Senior AI Software Engineer – Python (m/f/x) (onsite / remote in Germany)

Description:

• As a Senior Software Engineer in the Data Tribe, you will help design and deliver scalable backend and cloud systems that power AI-driven products and services.
• You will design and build scalable, production-grade systems and APIs, focusing on integrating modern AI capabilities into real-world applications.
• The role involves working on agentic AI systems, orchestration workflows, and cloud-native architectures to bring AI into production at scale.
• You will have the opportunity to lay the foundations and set the right technical direction in a newly formed work stream.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining AI/LLM services, designing architectures for scalable AI-enabled solutions on AWS, extending terraform infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, implementing testing and monitoring components, building intelligent workflows with modern orchestration frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated with industry developments.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• You must have 3+ years of professional software development experience with Python.
• A generalist mindset with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new topics and switch between domains such as infrastructure and backend engineering is essential.
• Experience with Docker, building CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems is necessary.
• Confidence in working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is required.
• Familiarity with modern agentic workflow orchestration frameworks, such as LangGraph, would be a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and a hands-on mentality are important for this role.
