The Senior AI Solutions Engineer role is customer-facing and involves implementing AI-powered solutions and configuring the platform using Python, MySQL, and automation tools.
The engineer will work directly with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Responsibilities include configuring and extending the platform, partnering with product management, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering projects on time.
The role requires thriving in an Agile environment with Scrum, automated testing, continuous integration, code reviews, and version control.
The engineer will also create and maintain unit tests to ensure accuracy and system integrity while leveraging AI to optimize workflows and improve customer outcomes.
This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be located in Argentina, and it is a long-term Independent Contractor role.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Python web development.
A minimum of 3+ years of SaaS product development experience, including cloud-based solutions, is necessary.
Candidates should have 3+ years of professional experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL.
Experience with Django or another Python framework for at least 3 years is required.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role is necessary.
Candidates must have 2+ years of proven experience building and consuming APIs.
Hands-on experience using AI-enhanced IDEs (e.g., Cursor, VS Code) is required.
Professional experience with Docker for containerization and AWS services such as EC2, API Gateway, and Lambda is necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
