Remote Senior Automation Engineer, Actimize

Description:

• The Senior Automation Engineer will be part of the AI and Analytics Team at NiCE, developing an advanced analytical cloud platform for financial crime programs.
• This role involves working within the PaaS/SaaS development group to create cloud-based solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
• The engineer will collaborate with architects, engineers, product managers, and third-party vendors to understand design and customer requirements.
• Responsibilities include translating functional and non-functional requirements into test scenarios and cases, automating test cases, and ensuring product health and quality.
• The engineer will maintain the automation framework, ensuring it utilizes best-of-breed technology, including open-source tools.
• Conducting internal product demos and assisting stakeholders in demo activities is also part of the role.
• The engineer must draft test strategies and propose best practices and standards.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in an Automation/Quality Automation role, preferably in fraud or risk domains.
• Strong experience in testing and automation of services built on AWS is essential.
• Good exposure to testing in the AWS ecosystem using API mock-ups, JMeter, and scripting is required.
• Experience with automation frameworks using Java or Python is necessary.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation tools, particularly Cucumber, and invoking regression packs from the CI/CD pipeline is a must.
• Familiarity with Jira/X-Ray and Splunk for reporting purposes is required.
• Experience in creating test strategies, test scenarios, and execution is essential.
• Good communication skills in English are necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• The candidate should be a team player with a strong work ethic, creativity, assertiveness, and flexibility.
• Exposure to Finance/Fraud/Anti Money Laundering (AML) is a plus, along with product experience.
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies and cloud-based delivery, SaaS, CI/CD, and DevOps is a nice-to-have.
