The Senior Automation Engineer will be part of the AI and Analytics Team at NiCE, developing an advanced analytical cloud platform for financial crime programs.
This role involves working within the PaaS/SaaS development group to create cloud-based solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
The engineer will collaborate with architects, engineers, product managers, and third-party vendors to understand design and customer requirements.
Responsibilities include translating functional and non-functional requirements into test scenarios and cases, automating test cases, and ensuring product health and quality.
The engineer will maintain the automation framework, ensuring it utilizes best-of-breed technology, including open-source tools.
Conducting internal product demos and assisting stakeholders in demo activities is also part of the role.
The engineer must draft test strategies and propose best practices and standards.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in an Automation/Quality Automation role, preferably in fraud or risk domains.
Strong experience in testing and automation of services built on AWS is essential.
Good exposure to testing in the AWS ecosystem using API mock-ups, JMeter, and scripting is required.
Experience with automation frameworks using Java or Python is necessary.
Hands-on knowledge of automation tools, particularly Cucumber, and invoking regression packs from the CI/CD pipeline is a must.
Familiarity with Jira/X-Ray and Splunk for reporting purposes is required.
Experience in creating test strategies, test scenarios, and execution is essential.
Good communication skills in English are necessary.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
The candidate should be a team player with a strong work ethic, creativity, assertiveness, and flexibility.
Exposure to Finance/Fraud/Anti Money Laundering (AML) is a plus, along with product experience.
Experience with Agile Development methodologies and cloud-based delivery, SaaS, CI/CD, and DevOps is a nice-to-have.
